Foto bij I'm really glad to see you again

ik was een beetje vergeten om het op quizlet te zetten....

Onew’s POV:

Although I don’t know why, the pretty girl I met while grocery shopping kept coming back into my thoughts. I don’t know if it’s because she was just nice and pretty, or because I’ve never really had the chance to REALLY talk to girls because of my job. I’ve tried to approach girls, but I’m normally shy and I get nervous. And as soon as they hear the words: singer, SHINee or famous, they turn into other people.

But this girl was different. When we talked she looked like a gentle and happy person. And when I decided to text her, her replies where the cutest thing ever.

So here I am now, rushing to the café I invited her to… and I’m almost 30 minutes late. I won’t be surprised if she left already.

I panted as I entered the café. It smelled like old people… bad choice Jinki. To my surprise, a very bored girl sat in the back of the café, looking a bit dissatisfied. I walked towards her and she looked up and greeted me. “I‘m really sorry.” I said while still breathing a little fast. She smiled a little, probably glad I still showed up even if I was very late. I looked around to see if no one followed me and then sat down. I removed my hoodie and grinned at her, she was even prettier than I remembered. She was dressed in a grey sweatshirt and a pretty necklace hung around her white skin.

I was waiting for her to say something but she just stared at me. “Is something wrong?” I asked a little uncomfortable. She opened and closed her mouth a few times and I could see her struggle with words. “Lee Jinki.” She finally said. I smiled at her. “Is it all right with you?” I was still a little nervous, from now on I just had to see what kind of person she was… it was a little awkward because we were both staring at each other.

Then she suddenly started laughing softly while covering her mouth. I didn’t really understand why she was laughing but I found it cute nonetheless. Her laughing died down a little and she looked at me. “You don‘t remember me do you?”

Hana’s POV:

He looked at me with a confused expression. “I‘m sorry… But have I met you somewhere before?” I saw him thinking really deep, and an apologetic look in his eyes told me that he didn‘t recognized me. “It‘s okay, lets order something first.” He agreed and we ordered something simple. “I‘ll make it easier for you. We went to high school together but I had to move to another country.” His eyes got a little bigger and his mouth made an ‘o’ shape. “Hana!” His face lit up and he squinted his eyes when he gave me one of his warm smiles. “You‘ve really changed a lot. I‘m sorry for not recognizing you!” I was a little embarrassed. “It‘s okay. I didn‘t even expect you to remember me. It‘s been 8 years already.”

I sighed inwardly. I never would’ve imagined I would meet him here and I felt my heart beating in my throat as I spoke. I thought the feelings I had died a long time ago but come on… this man is practically perfect. “I never really forgot about you. I even wondered if you would still keep your promise.” The promise… “Oh! But I thought… Jinki has a lot of fans so he wouldn’t bother with me.” He waved his hands in front of him, defending that it was not true. “Of course not. I‘m really happy to see you.”

Our order came and we continued talking. “Ah, I‘m really hungry.” I laughed a little when I saw him eat. “You look as if you never get any food.” He looked at me and his cheeks were stuffed with food.

Jshdfbjhbfwjhfbebf so cute.

“Sometimes there is no time to eat, and we don‘t get a lot of different things.” I felt bad for him and we were both quiet while we were eating.

He spoke up. “It‘s funny, now we are talking it‘s like we‘ve never been away.” I laughed and took a sip of my drink. “I know. Except for the fact that I actually understand everything you‘re saying.” He nodded his head. “You‘re right. Your Korean really improved.”
My nervousness disappeared and I started to feel more at ease.

“So… should I call you Onew now? It feels weird to call you that.” He chewed his food and shook his head. “I prefer hearing you call me by my own name, Onew sounds weird coming from you to be honest.” “So I can just call you Jinki comfortably like I used to?” I asked enthusiastic and he nodded in approval, laughing at my happy face when he said yes. God, I still like this guy.

Hyomin had set me up for dates before, but I have always felt very uncomfortable and didn‘t really like the person. But with Jinki… it was so different.

“So how is being an idol?” I asked. He sighed. “It has it‘s good and bad sides but overall, I like it.” I smiled. “So what are you doing right now?” he asked. I chuckled and chewed the last piece of my food. “Guess.” I said. He pretended to think really deep and then stared right in my eyes. “Stripper?” I was stunned at first. “Yah!!” I softly hit him on his shoulder and covered my mouth when I laughed. “I was just kidding, I‘m sorry. Hmm, I really don‘t know, tell me.” He then said and I leaned back a little. I was silent for a while and looked down, trying to be as serious as possible. “Yeah you‘re right, I became a stripper.” I looked up when he didn’t say anything and just looked at me with a confused expression. I laughed at his expression. “I was just kidding…” He took a deep breath. “I really thought you meant it. You scared me there.” I grinned. “Why, you don‘t want me to be a stripper? I think I could pull it off~” I teased. “Yah, Hana don‘t scare me like that. You can do way better than that.” “I‘m sorry.” I chuckled. “I‘m actually a translator… You know, I kinda took the easy way.” He nodded and we decided to go for a walk. As promised, he paid and we walked outside. Since it was still cold he could cover himself up without being stared at.

“So why did you want to meet me?” I looked at him from the corner of my eyes and I could see that his cheeks were a little red. “After I met you in the snowstorm I actually couldn‘t stop thinking about you so… I wanted to see you again.”

God…

Is this real life?

To be honest, I had to hold myself from going totally insane there. So I decided to just smile like a total idiot.

“Ah, chincha?” I asked, I tried to cover my stupid grin. “Ne, so what brought you here to meet me?” He was looking at me while we walked. “Hmm… at first I wasn‘t sure if I wanted to go because you were a stranger, but I was curious and you were really nice…. And maybe my friend pushed me to go.” I said. “But I definitely don‘t regret coming here now.” I could see him smile and I smiled back. “Do you live on your own?” I nodded, we were both walking slowly with no direction in particular. “I live in an apartment on the 3rd floor. But it‘s quite big. You should come over sometime, I’ll cook something for you!” “Really?” He looked happy. “Ne!” “I‘ll look forward to that then. But it‘s getting late, and I have to practice.” He said and sighed. “I‘m really glad to see you again.” I said. “Me too, you became really pretty Hana.” I felt my face becoming hot. “T-thank you. Call me whenever you have free time.” I smiled and we said our goodbyes.

God I can’t believe that just happened…
