'Let's go, before she notices us', I suggested. If my mother would see us, she could go crazy again. She so weak already. This was only a year after she met daddy. The house would be sold soon so we could go live in our old neighbourhood. There I would grow close to Katie.
The doors closed. The world behind them would remain hidden forever in memories.
'I had a wonderfull youth', sure life has been hard on me sometimes. But everybody inside the TARDIS would agree. Can't wipe that lovely image away.
'Hey, Indy, if you really are his daughter, then, I'm curious, are you Time Lord?', Katie wondered.
'No', I said. 'I've always been human. Average and normal. Otherwise I would have been bullied'
'Well... you were odd, I have to say. Ofcourse, I'm odd too, that's why were became friends'
'Humans look alike Time Lords, children wouldn't notice it that quickly', the Doctor spoke. 'Only our body temperature is lower and we have two hearts with a heart rate that divers from humans'
I sat down. 'I wouldn't know. That stuff was probably very boring to me as a child. The travelling, the thrilling adventures, that was the part I loved'
'Come on! I know how you didn't think it was frozen cold when snow was falling down'
'But snow isn't that cold. Ice-' 'It is!', Katie disrupted. 'You took off you gloves to make better snowballs'
'That's true', I admitted.
My biological father sat down and watched me closely. He examined my wirst.
'Hm... cold indeed'
'It's winter, almost, it's autumn!'
'True, true, completly true. Heartbeat is a little over the 145 beats per minute, quite high. But not high enough for a Time Lord'
So, what am I? Human, right.
'We need to know how many hearts you have before we can go to the conclusion', he decided.
Immediatly I pressed my hand against my heart. They will never know. I'm not a freak. Futher examination is not required.
'Don't worry. I'm the Doctor, not a scientistic surgeon. I only deal with the science of time travelling and saving worlds'
'Alright then', Katie shouted. 'What are we waiting for? Let's go to a land of myth and a time of magic!'
That moment I saw the knight, the castle and the mirror again.
'No!', I yelled quickly. 'Let's try something else, everything except medieval!
'Paris in the early eightteen hundreds?', the Doctor offered.
'Seems perfectly fine!'
Katie agreed as well.
The TARDIS took off with an immense speed. Everything was shaking. Lovely! I always loved speed, faster is better! Almost a dream that came true.
'Paris, here we come', the Doctor shouted. He had huge smile on his face.
We felt the same way. Paris must be beautifull. The real old Paris. Katie and I giggled. Neither of us could wait to step outside when the doors opened.
Still we did. For a good reason.
