Part 3.
He knocked on my door.
No answer.
"Ah, come on, Meli. I know you're in here. Please, let me in." He begged. I wasn't asleep yet. I stood up and opened the door. He saw that I wasn't in tears which was a good thing. He sat down on my bed and I sat next to him staring at the floor. "What happened?" he asked. I took a deep breath and said: "The guy on the bench was Niall. I didn't know he had a girlfriend."
"Are you in love with him?"
"No, it's just… We hugged and I had this feeling we'd become good friends. But he has a girlfriend and girls get jealous, you know..?"
"You just don't like the fact he's dating?"
"I don't want to break them Hazza, I don't want to be a bother."
"Who said you will? He hugged you!"
"I said that."
"Well, don't say that ever again. Go talk to him and you'll see if he talks back or not. You just have to wait, don't ignore him."
"I wasn't planned to ignore him but maybe talk to him less. So, you think I just should act normal?"
"Yep, he won't have a problem with that. Well.. I wouldn't."
"Okay thanks!" I said while giving him a big hug. It felt like a big rock fell off my shoulders only because I told him.
"But tell me, you really like him, right?" Harry asked while lifting his eyebrows up.
"I would love to have him as a friend. He's very nice."
"I think I should meet him soon." He laughed.
"You should." I smiled.
"Are you going to sleep now?"
"Yes, I think? You?"
"Ow, I thought you would practice or dance a bit with me?" He said a little disappointed. I looked at my clock. It wasn't very late. "Okay Hazza." I said. He smiled and rushed to his room and after a minute he was back in my room. He brought some CDs with him.
"No, today it's going to be my music." I said taking the CDs out of his hands.
He looked at me with a bitchy face and I started to laugh.
"You have my heart, and we’ll never be worlds apart
Maybe in magazines, but you’ll still be my star." You heard the boxes play.
Harry was singing out loud. Good that our parents weren't here tonight. We were acting like it was a duet. I was play backing, he was singing for real. At 0.30 sec. he grabbed a huge wand in my room and danced like the cast of Glee.
"Cause I-I’m singin’ in the rain
Just singin’ in the rain
What a glorious feeling
I’m happy again
I’m laughing at clouds
So dark, up above
I'm singing, singing in the rain
You can stand under my umbrella ella ella eh eh eh
Under my umbrella ella ella eh eh eh eh eh eh
These fancy things, will never come in between
You’re part of my entity, here for infinity
When the war has took its part
When the world has dealt it’s cards
If the hand is hard, together we’ll mend your heart
'Cause I’m singin’ in the rain
Just singin’ in the rain
What a glorious feeling
I’m happy again
I’m laughing at clouds
So dark, up above
I'm singing.."
"Why don't you sing for real?" He stopped the music at 1:45.
I froze.
I didn't really expect him to say that right now.
"I never sing in front of people." I replied.
"Why not."
"I don't know." I said confused.
"Sing with me for real now."
I nodded and he started.
" You can stand under my umbrella, (Umbrella) ella ella eh eh eh
Just singing in the rain
I'm singing, singing in the rain
It’s raining, raining
Ooh baby it’s raining, raining
Baby, come into me
Come into me
It’s raining, raining
Ooh baby it’s raining, raining
Baby, come into me
My umbrella, my umbrella"
We ended both with the words: "My umbrella".
The song finished, he smiled at me and said: "Not that bad, you've got something." My face was almost the color of a tomato. Although you couldn't see very clearly that my face had a red color. Suddenly it started to rain and we both restarted the song. We danced and sang the whole night long. He even slept in my room because he was too lazy to get in his own bed. It was a perfect night.
