Auld lang syne.

For countries seen in place and time,
For rivers we have crossed.
The roads we walked alone in life,
No need for loss.

But loneliness slips into hearts,
But sorrows can run deep.
Remembering all which now waits,
To home we go.

As we so passed the edge of time,
As we build our bridge home.
Familiar faces take their form,
And kiss our cheeks.

So take your cup and fill the ridge,
So pay which you are due.
Laugh and recall old memories,
As we make new.

And with the warmth of friendship past,
And with the warmth of now.
We'll sing a song of silence dear,
For auld lang syne.
