Dit liedje hoort erbij
I close my eyes
And think of you.
And when you said
You never loved me too.
A little tear
Runs down my face.
For ever leaving
His hiding place.
I should follow my dreams
And let you go.
Just walk away
And stop to let you know.
That I still miss
The times we had.
And that, now you're gone
It makes me sad.
I'm still sitting here
In a dark corner of my room.
Looking at a picture
Of a happy bride and groom.
I wished we could be
Together, for now and always.
But I have to go were my heart belongs
And with you, is not that place.
I need to realize
That I can't go back.
And all that I have left
Is the feeling to be attacked.
A bloody war
Inside of my mind.
And not a short one
But one of the long-lasting kind.
One that can't be solved
Peace will never return.
It's like a huge fire
That won't stop to burn.
But now I need to
Put down all the lights.
I need to ignore
All my issues and fights.
I have to go to sleep
I have to dream.
Remember all the good things
And how it used to be.
I'll continue my life
Without remembering you.
Erase you out of my heart
That's what I have to do.
