Nope no title [EN]

Remember when I participated in a competition with a poem I wrote in half an hour? Yeah, same... here <3
Of course I changed my username twice since, but it really is mine.

Like the leaf that falls on a bright autumn night
Like the lake that reflects the beams of the sun
The sparrow, shaking, for he’s getting ready for flight
The owl opening his eyes, for his hunt has begun

The grace that the eagle moves with
It’s different than the picture framed
While some tell us that beauty is a myth
It’s a thing that we all have claimed

To be the one perfect thing
To be the one thing we all have to strive for
It’s the thing we look for while searching
For someone to tell us, that we are what they adore

Now, in our day, we get help of the plentiful
To define our sense of beauty
But is it what we really want, or is it unreachable
Photo’s retouched, only then they do their duty

Young girls striving to look alike to those
Boys who look for girls, like they saw
They think they’re not even close
While in the end, beauty is a flaw

The flaw of speckles, scattered over the face
Of curves, which you hope that disappear
The things we hate, we should embrace
Because they only make one thing clear

No-one is the same, we are all special
You may not see, but no-one does
Seeing it, that isn’t crucial
We all get to see it, in our own way, because

The girl sitting alone while everyone is together
Texting someone who does know what to say
Because she knows that what others answer
Isn’t what they think, it’s what seems okay

The scars on the arm of the boy
They may not seem nice, or pretty
They do show that his live isn’t made of joy
That he had to fight, in order to be free

The young dog, new to the earth
He opens his eyes, and sees,
The things we don’t think are worth
The grass, the flower, the breeze

We see the world as we’ve been told
Not the way we would like to
Cruel, harsh and stone-cold
Calling yourself a beauty is taboo

This is not the way beauty is
It should’ve been personal
Because one person likes this
And the other thinks it’s awful

Beauty is an overvalued expression
Of love, joy and adornment
Sadly, some of us see it as a decision
To a life full of adjustment

While beauty is just another way
To describe someone your view
Or a fancier way to say
‘I Like You’
