Why do I cry?
Tears just keep coming.
I don’t understand why
Everything seems to go wrong.
My friends are there,
Yet I feel lonely.
It’s like I can’t even care
About their company.
As if all the joy and love
I ever felt, stayed afloat,
When I sank away.
And everything I ever held
Just isn’t the same today.
I know it’s me,
But I can’t change.
I’ve been dying to see
There must be a way.
