Simple smile

Tears rolling down
Affecting her cheeks
Leaving streaks of pale silver
Glittering scars
of how her eyes would leak

My caressing hand
Moving over her skin
One soft finger
Over the trail of a tear
Pushing up her chin

Her eyes would travel up
Glittering and full of pain
She'd look into mine
Wanting reasurrence,
Something to gain

A small smile would spread
Over those beautiful lips
Wider and wider
Like the sun
A lunar eclipse.

That simple smile
Like lightning that struck
Creating chaos
But for me just
Courage and a litte luck.
