Aw, thank you c: I couldn't resist starting, so I've got a tiny bit of chapter one done now. Still have to write the Prologue. Not sure how to start that one. I'll put the summary for the story at the end of this message c: If you can't do it, then don't. Do what makes you feel good. Don't do things when you don't want to do them. Aw, thanks, love c:
The summary: Since his brother Cato won the 74th Hunger Games four years ago, it is expected of Jet that he will win this year as well. Of course his older brother is his mentor, as he understands Jet best. Jet doesn’t really agree with what the Hunger Games stand for and he’s struggling with the idea of becoming just like his brother, a ruthless killer.
The other District 2 Tribute despises the Games even more than Jet does. She wasn’t even supposed to be in the Games, but *VOLUNTEER*, who was chosen to volunteer this year, was too scared to participate. Britt isn’t the best fighter District 2 has, but she’s fast and cunning. She tries her best to get back home, to her little brother, but as the Games go on, she realizes her biggest opponent is Jet, the one person who ever stuck up for her.
As you can see, I haven't thought of a name for the supposed Volunteer yet and I haven't got a name for the little brother either. I don't want to make Britt just like Katniss, but ugh she's such an inspiration, haha. I'm not too sure about Jet and Britt's names either. Their last names are Derran and Brock, respectively, by the way. So yea, what d'you think? They're going to fall in love and stuff of course, so d'you think it's too much of an Everlark-storyline? I don't want that. And what d'you think of the names? They sound really ridiculous to me, but then again; most of the names of the people in the Hunger Games are kind of ridiculous.
