  Dat betekend dus dat Elena het niet door heeft hoeven geven, aangezien er wordt verwacht dat Silas en Amara geen kinderen hadden. De natuur maakte als balans voor de onsterfelijkheid gewoon sterfelijke doppelgangers, met soms hulp van de doppelgangers die dus kinderen konden krijgen. Mocht dit niet gebeuren, dan zou de natuur het zelf oplossen. Zo heb ik het gevat en dus gebruikt
