What exactly is the price of a ticket?
Tickets are priced at 16 euros for a friday or sunday ticket and 26 euros for a saturday ticket. When buying tickets for more than one day, a discount is factored in to determine the prices for two or three days. When visiting two days, there is a discount of 11 euros, making a ticket for friday+saturday or saturday+sunday 31 euros. When visiting three days, the discount is a whopping 22 euros, making an all-weekend ticket only 36 euros.
Why aren't there any tickets for sale?
Either you're too early, or too late with buying a ticket. Our ticket boot will open when we've arranged everything that's needed to open it. Tickets will be for sale until Abunai, unless they are completely sold out. There is only a limited amount of tickets for each day, and when they're gone, they're gone. If you did not manage to get a ticket, there is still a slight chance some tickets are cancelled later on. When such tickets are put for sale again, we will announce this on the front page as well.
Will there still be tickets for sale at the door?
If the tickets for Abunai are sold out, there won't be any for sale at the door either. But if there are still tickets available, they will be sold at the door.
The tickets are sold out, but I forgot to buy a ticket. Can you arrange me a ticket?
No, we can't. We get a lot of people asking us to fix a ticket, for a myriad of reasons. We are really sorry that you didn't manage to get a ticket, and we're sure that there are reasons. But there are so many people who have a reason for not having a ticket yet, and if we were to give every one of you a ticket anyways, we would still be exceeding our maximum with quite a bit.
I didn't get my validation/payment e-mail. What can I do?
Many e-mail providers, but especially hotmail and yahoo, tend to recognize automated e-mails as spam. You should really check your junkmail folder before doing anything else. If you cannot find your e-mail there, you can request another one to be sent with our mail form.
I transferred my payment. When do I get a confirmation?
As soon as we notice your payment has arrived a confirmation mail will be sent. There may be some time between your money transfer, and the money arriving on our bank account. Furthermore, we cannot process the payments every day because we're still all volunteers. If you are afraid you missed your payment confirmation, you can always check whether your payment has been processed with our registration check. If your payment has been processed, but you didn't get a confirmation, or if you payed long before the last batch has been processed, you can use our mail form to contact us.
I would like to change my registration.
Please use our contact form for this. Please mention your registration number or payment number, and mention what change you want to have made to your registration. If you want to have options removed, we will also need your bank account number to deposit the money back to you. Without a bank account number, the money will be returned to you at the check in on Abunai.
I would like to cancel my registration.
You can cancel your registration until one month in advance. This year that would be the 26th of August. After that, it is not possible to cancel your ticket anymore. When you want to cancel your ticket, send us a mail using our mail form. Make certain to use the e-mail address you signed up with.
I want to give my ticket to someone else.
To give your ticket to someone else, the ticket will have to be put on this person's name. Only the owner of the ticket can change this information, so the original owner has to send us the name, address, birthdate, gender and e-mail address of the person the ticket needs to be transferred to using our mail form. Both the previous owner and the new owner of the ticket will get a confirmation of their ticket being changed to the other person.
When will I get my ticket?
Abunai does not send actual tickets. Your visitor number is your ticket. You only need to bring this number to Abunai. You will need to be able to identify yourself; we want to prevent people from gaining knowledge of someone's visitor number and use it for themselves.
When will I get my train ticket?
Of course you will need your train ticket in advance, if you are to use it to get to Abunai. All the train tickets will be sent out by mail well in advance of Abunai, so you can use it to get to us when the day is there.
