Personality: Francesco is a street kid who grew up to become an influential and powerful member of the Camorra. Camorra saved him from a life of poverty and he is eternally grateful to the family for that. To him, the Camorra is everything and he will go to great lengths to expand their power and influence.
Francesco has also grown up to take the mafia values at heart. He strongly believes in order and codes of honor. A promise made is a promise kept. Sometimes in... creative ways, but Francesco always sticks to his promises. He is not stupid nor naive, however, and he is fully aware others are not as honorable as he is. Many see Francesco's dependability as a boon. A rare but stupid few see it as a sign of weakness and try to fuck with him. They quickly discover that Francesco has little patience for such things.
Francesco's adherence to order stretches to his men: His mafioso are disciplined, intelligent and well trained and dressed. It is the tradition of the Camorra to have horizontal clans with no clear overarching hierarchy, and Francesco has implemented this in a sense in his own clan. His inner circle, members of the family, are permitted to speak their mind and offer their advice, though it must be said that their freedom is not limitless. The others, the street thugs who carry out the day to day business have no such freedom.
Perhaps this description makes Francesco seem like a good man, a mobster with a heart of gold. A robin hood even, or maybe it just makes him look like the only sane man in the madness of LA gang warfare. Make no mistake: Francesco is every bit as ruthless and capable of torture and murder as the next crime boss. Francesco is simply more intelligent and disciplined than most, and prefers to see himself as a businessman. He believes sticking to a code of honor, even one such as his own, makes him a better person than the common murderers and rapists of other gangs. It is a fault shared by many of those within the Italian crime families. Unfortunately it is far from true. It would be wise not to point this out to Francesco: I doubt he would appreciate such an analysis.

Fears/phobias: Fat people. They are to be killed with fire whenever possible. Does not like big butts, can not lie

Hobbies: Eating, sporting, shooting, driving fast cars, sniffing cocaine, having sex, long walks along the beach, torturing rival gang members and cooking. Francesco likes to paint as well but he is not very good at it. It is a fact he has graciously accepted and he spends a bit of time every week trying to improve his painting skills. His preferred style of painting is postmodernism. Francesco has no clue what it means, but it sounds nice.

Talents/skills: Shooting (Revolvers, they are a true manly weapon), cooking (Lasagna with spinach is his specialty), juggling and he is actually rather good at skateboarding but he rarely does it anymore outside the walls of his home: A crime boss should not use a skateboard.

Describe the character's house/home: Big and fancy. A massive walled villa located a bit ouf of LA with a swimming pool, gardens, a pool house and a garage for his cars. The gardens and house are well-tended to by women in rather revealing clothing. Francesco's playthings. The house is white on the outside with a nice tiled patio on the side facing the pool. Francesco often dines here. The kitchen is of course large and luxurious and is staffed by an Italian cook, Vincento, a close friend who Francesco put to work on something far more important than earning money. The cook also functions as Francesco's interrogator and executioner. Francesco also likes to dabble in interrogating, but he lacks Vincento's refined technique and his victims die far too fast. There is a hidden hatch in the kitchen which leads to the torture cellar. It includes a deep hole in the ground where they throw their victims in.

Special belongings: A chromed revolver (Colt Single Action Army, .45 calibre rounds), a red/black Bugatti EB 16.4 car, a rugged combat knife and that whore Whatshername who gives good blowjobs. Francesco always wears a .45 casing on a necklace around his neck.

Strengths in combat: A good shot, his revolver ("This is the greatest handgun ever made. The Colt Single Action Army. Six bullets... More than enough to kill anything that moves") is acurate and powerful enough to punch through bulletproof vests at close range. Also an okay knife fighter.

Family:Father died a while back. Mother is still alive. No siblings. Often visits mother: She is a wonderful cook. She is not aware of his activities and hopefully never will be. Due to his father's past she's not exactly the Camorra's biggest fan. He's not really a mama's kid in the truest sense of the word: Sure, he respects her and enjoys her cooking and just talking to her, but she doesn't tell him what to do and he could do just fine without her. But even for him it's comforting to have one person who will (most likely) never betray him. Another major factor in play is the fact that a good Family man takes care of his family, and caring for his mother makes Francesco feel like he's a good man at heart.

Friends: A fair number of friends, not many he'd trust with his life. Francesco's inner circle comprised of five members of the Camorra he took with him to LA and a single Latino (who is only referred to as Juan Camorra) are his only true friends. Or at least, they are as true friends as a man of his profression can have. Vincente is his closest friend and second in command. Vincente is the ring of muscle protecting Francesco in case of an attack. And a damn good cook to boot. Juan is a former street kid who served as a guide in Francesco's early years. The kid was smart enough to join him on day one and has reaped the benefits. He is unflinchingly loyal and cunning as a fox. He tends to run the day to day administration. Alberto, Emilio, Fabian and Gabriel are the remaining four who came with him to LA. They are his lieutenants and govern the protection rackets, drug trafficking, human trafficking and recruitment/training respectively.
The regular gang members don't really count as friends but I shall describe them here as well. They are mainly from the poorer areas, a lot of them are Latino's and African Americans much like in other gangs. Francesco's Camorra cell also has a far larger Asian population than most other (non-eastern) gangs, mainly due to Francesco's appreciation of their hard work and no-nonsense approach. All gang members are trained for two months by Gabriel in a camp outside LA in the desert before being given a job. During their training they learn discipline, obedience, loyalty and how to fight. Their training and equipment is relatively expensive and limits the size of the Camorra, but it pays of dividends in a gang warfare. Their skill and survivability is also good PR and ensures that the Camorra never has a shortage of potential recruits.

Enemies: Too many to count. Francesco regularly invites them to dinner. Keep your enemies closer and all that. The police is more of an ally than an enemy: Francesco pays them off with a cut of the profits and a discount on a 'massage' in his brothels. It's really quite amazing how easily one can corrupt the boys in blue. There is a nuisance once in a while, but nothing which can't be handled with an accident or two.

Describe their childhood (newborn - age 10): Francesco grew up in Pozzuoli and Naples. Italy isn't exactly the best country in the EU and Pozzuoli and Naples are some of the poorer regions in Italy. It's not hard to imagine that this doesn't make for an easy life. Francesco's father, a garbageman, died when he was 5 due to a horrible accident with the garbage compactor (Official story. Unofficial story: Thrown in by a maffioso due to trying to pocket a looot of smuggling money) which left a hole in his life. Still, Francesco got along very well with his mother (And still does) so Francesco was able to leave the pain of his father's death behind him. Still, he grew up to be a quiet and sensitive boy who bided his time reading and writing poems. He was a bit of a dork, but a good guy.
Describe their teenage years (11 - 20): Life continued on peacefully for Francesco, until he became 15. On his fifteenth Francesco met a girl named Theresia. She was quite honestly the most beautiful girl Francesco had ever seen and Francesco, being a hopeless romantic (or believing himself to be) instantly fell in love with her. Unfortunately, she was two years older and he was at his job in a McDonalds. He chatted a bit with her, and the next time she stopped by, and the time after that, and finally asked her out on a date the next time. She rejected him, of course. Still, it broke Francesco's heart. He didn't understand. Was he not the hottest son of a bitch in town? But as he remembered the (Rather large amount of) different boys with which Theresia had entered the McDonalds Francesco discerned a pattern. They all had expensive clothes and rather big and muscular. Francesco decided to blame his rejection on the old adagium of “Girls like bad boys”, which to be honest, wasn't very far from the truth in this particular case.
Francesco knew a few old friends of his father and asked them for work. They weren't exactly keen to put him to work considering his father's legacy, but they knew it was either that and killing him if he stole or murdering him right away. The first option would earn them money so they gave him a chance. But if they ever caught him stealing...
Long story short, Francesco never did steal. At least, he didn't from the Camorra. He rapidly made a name for himself as a devious drug and cigarette dealer. His competition mysteriously dissapeared and the clients of those that remained flocked to him due to Francesco's reputation as a fair and honest man, which was actually partially true. He never mixed his drugs with other shit to maximize profits and never stole or robbed from a customer. It earned him many clients and a higher revenu which in turn led to higher profits. His boss wasn't thrilled to see his lower profits per unit sold (Due to the purity of his drugs and lack of robbing) but the fact that Francesco quickly became one of his biggest money-earners did a lot to make up for that. It was for his rising potential that Francesco ended up as a young but influential lieutenant. Francesco quite enjoyed the perks that came with being a Family man, especially the women. Francesco liked women.
All this time Francesco never forgot about Theresia. Her raven black hair and green eyes still haunted his (wet) dreams So imagine his surprise when he met her on the streets of Pozzuoli one night. She did not remember him, of course. Why would she? Still, the new confident and 'bad' Francesco (Driving an expensive car and wearing expensive clothes) certainly left an impression. Theresia was one of those odd people who are attracted to wealth more than anything. So on Franceso's 19th they started dating. Their relationship actually went pretty well: Theresia stayed with him for longer than with any of her previous boyfriends. Maybe it was because of his good looks, but more likely it was because of his greater wealth and power, and perhaps also because he truly was a bad boy, being a mafia lieutenant and all.
That last bit did bother her. Theresia's conscience started acting up and worse yet she had actually developed feelings for Francesco. Real feelings for him, love for his body and mind rather than for his wealth and power. Francesco's love had matured as well and had turned from the adoring affection of a young boy to something a bit deeper. Then a deal went bad and Francesco ended up being shot up and landed in the ICU. He woke up to Theresia begging him to leave Naples with her. The stakes were rising between the Camorra clans and the police was starting to crack down on their might. It was getting too dangerous to lose someone who had become so close to her.
Francesco had a lot of time to think while in the hospital. He realized that he was fully prepared to leave with Theresia and live another life elsewhere, even though his boss would chase him to the end of the world. Francesco was a loyal guy but also stubborn and he put his own well-being and that of his loved ones above the welfare of his clan. To further complicate things Theresia became pregnant quite soon after Francesco left the hospital. They were catholic enough to not use birth control but too young to abstain and would soon end up with a kid.
This is why Francesco ended up lying in bed beside a heavily pregnant Theresia on the night before his 21th birthday. They would leave the next day and move to the USA, to some small town in the north, far away from gang violence. They'd build a peaceful life. But Francesco wasn't happy. He was prepared to flee with Theresia, but he didn't want to.and I bet you want to know why, huh?
It was because Theresia had had such a massive influence over him since she had entered his life. It scared him. Francesco liked to think of himself as an independent young fellow and Theresia shattered that image and pissed all over it. I mean, just look at his past! He had turned to a life of crime on his 15th to impress her. He hadn't been able to get her out of his mind for four years after she stopped showing up at his old job. And when he finally did run into her again later on in life, riding a fast car and wearing expensive clothes, she tried to drag him right out of that life again. It seemed that ever since he met her he had been dragged around by her, following her every whim. Was that how the rest of his life was meant to be?
Francesco is a smart guy, but he really should stop blaming others for his own stupidity.
The two got in the car the next morning at 4 in the morning to drive to the airport. On Francesco's suggestion they took a small detour along the Amalfi coast, to say goodbye to their lovely country. It was there that Francesco also said his farewells to Theresia, when he shot her in the back of the head and pushed her corpse and luggage over the cliffs. He was a free man once more. No woman would meddle in his life ever again.
Describe their adult years (21): Francesco continued on towards the airport and flew to the USA. Once there he booked a new flight, to LA. Once in LA he called his boss and some of his best Family buddies: He was going to send up a drug trafficking ring in LA. His boss was overjoyed: Francesco's growing influence had concerned him. He immediately approved of Francesco's improvised plan and allowed Francesco's friends to join him. Five of them did.
The six of them worked hard to set up a drug ring. Francesco's reputation, lineage and manners made him stand out from all the gangsta trash on the streets, even more so than in Naples. The discipline of his gang, which quickly grew to contain many well-trained and equipped members, made him feared among the others. Many LA gangs were dissatisfied with the Camorra's growing power in LA. Francesco was magnanimous enough to grant the voices of dissent a moderately quick death, often taking inspiration from old mafia films. He exploited the mafia's reputation to the max and profited from it.
Now, ten years later, The Camorra is wealthy, large and powerful. Francesco and his Family are their own Camorra clan and they still often communicate and coordinate with the Camorra in their home country, although many of them look down on Francesco's operations. The Camorra mainly stick to smuggling cigarettes and drugs, but Francesco is big on cocaine and human trafficking. Francesco takes great pleasure in determining the life of hundreds of women, much like Theresia once ran his life. It is his revenge.
