'I-i-i...' tried Miku. The teacher called her infront of the class to read a paragraph from the textbook. Since she couldn't read that good aloud, the teachers always assumed that she wasn't paying attention. The Science teacher liked to pick on her in particular. Even if Miku explained to him that she couldn't, or rather attempted to, he just wouldn't listen. 'Damn exuses!' he would say. 'First not paying attention and now you're feeding me those dirty lies! Where is the world going to get with these kinds of people?! You're supposed to be the next generation, you're going to have to take care of the elderly! And instead of that, you pay all their hard work back with this kind of behavior! I'm deeply dissapointed in you, Hitsuki Miku-san.' whilst screaming at her loudly he would send spit flying all over the classroom. 'Hai, sensei.' she would mutter back and sit down with a red head. But that will change! Today she will read the text aloud! She will erase the bad impression she left and then, maybe, Kuraji-senpai will notice her.

Since she started high school she always liked him, he was good at sports, smart, nice and he was good looking. What wasn't there to like? But the main reason was because he helped her out on her first schoolday. When she was lost and couldn't find her way back, he a popular second-year student, he walked her to her classroom. From that moment on she kept liking him more and more. Their way to school was almost the same, so she saw him everyday. Once she saw him helping a little cat out of the tree, not caring about the scratches he was reciving at all. Or an another time she saw how he helped an elder lady back to her house, because she forgot the way back. She remembered how he got late because of that and he didn't make excuses. He didn't tell the reason why, it was almost like he was embaressed about it. There was alot gossip then about why Kuraji Fuuta-kun, the starstudent got so late. The most ridiculous story's were made up. Like that he secretly was a superhero and had to save the earth again. Or that he was acting like he was perfect, like he was and he actually was a drugdealer and he had some problems with his clients on the way to school. The real reason was really simple and noble, so she wondered as to why he didn't say anything.

'Yes? Miku-san, please continue.' he said with a triumphic smile. He was able to catch her onaware again! But then she spoke. 'An eclipse is an astromonomical event that occurs when an astronomical object is temporarily obscured, either by passing into the shadow of another body or by having another body to pass between it and the viewer. An eclipse is a type of syzygy.*' she said in a soft and shaking voice. But even then, she was proud of herself! She was able to read infront of the class! 'Hmmm, you may sit down now, Miku-san.' said the teacher finally. With a burning red face she sat down and smiled a little. She was going to get there, she was sure of it!
