Foto bij One important question

I'd figure out;
English and present don't go together!

'Soo... you are my daughter? I didn't know'
'Yeah, and you don't look like you're old enough to be my dad'
'But if you are my daughter then my I ask you one thing?'
'Ofcourse, go ahead'
'Are you... ginger?'
I looked at my best friend before I gave the awnser. 'No. Why?'
'Ahw, why, why aren't we ginger?', the Doctor complained.
'I am', Katie said. 'Well, sort of. They call it strawberry blond'
'And blond she is', I had to say. Katie punched me for that one.
'Wait a minute. The ginger one is not my daughter. Can you tell me what my daughter is called?'
'Indy. Doctor... uhm... what is your last name?'
The Doctor pulled a weird face. 'It's the Doctor, only the Doctor'
I'm positive that my mother had something with men without last names.
'Indy and I were waiting for you. You can take us to the land of myth in a time of magic, right sir?', Katie requested politely.
'Depends. The TARDIS takes me where I need to be. Not really always where I want to be.'
'Ahw, please sir, could you show us the TARDIS at least? You see, I'm a huge fan. Though, you don't look like the Doctor at all. Ouch, sleeping on the ground is a disaster for my back', Katie just kept on talking.
'How does Dina do?', the Doctor asked while he opened the TARDIS. The warm light welcomed us. I immediatly felt more comfortable, like I was comming home.
'Wel... She is okay. Not perfectly fine since dad died. But Samuel is arround to comfort her. Surely, she will be alright. Even though, her angel died. I always wondered why you left her. There must me a good reason, for sure'
'You know', he said, standing in the huge hall. 'I had to save the world. But I've always planned to return'
I looked away. He never did. In the 17 years I lived he never did. I remained silent for a while.
Until a big bright explosion. Quickly the Doctor jumped towards her. Katie appologised. She just couldn't resist touching the buttons. Luckly she was okay. No big fire, it only scared us for a second. The Doctor already started repairing, when he had to find out my friend had taken his screwdriver. She was trying to find the right button to make it more 'sonic'.
I give her this, the buttons do look very tempting. It was pretty hard to leave those bright collored things alone. Subconscious I started walking arround the thing.
Then the Doctor showed up and turned me arround. I was suprised by the sudden movement.
'Let me take a closer look'
He watched me with big brown eyes. Just a bit to close. A smile appeared. 'You got small ears. Look at them, how tiny! Tell me, how old are you exactly?'
'Exactly', I calculated; '17 years, eleven months and 1 week plus one day', knowing I looked much younger. Then again, he also did.
'Fascinating. Tell more about yourself. How do you do at school?'
I hesitated. 'I don't'
'Great', he shouted. 'As my daughter, I have to compel you to go to school'
I sighed. 'One: I don't know you. Two: I have finished school, in two weeks I will attend University'
'Oh well, in that case I'm proud. Hey, that lock of hair, it looks ginger!'
I laughed and suggested that we would discuss all of the other things while having a cup of tea.
