Foto bij Medieval kiss

Enjoy

I woke up, some place, far, far away. A boy just lifted his lips. I was to confused to know what was going on. My mind blurred the environment. All of it was wavy, going up and down.
First things first. I had to sit straight up, keep my head from spinning. Then I slapped the boy. How did he dare to kiss me? Now, to make sense, I shouted; 'I already have a boyfriend! Somewhere... far away... where AM I! Why did you kiss me?'
My sight went black for just one second. I had to blink before it was gone. I could see! Nothing I know, I observed. Some kind of old castle wall. There also was a small window without glass. I pulled the blankets closer to my chest. Blankets, plural. Can't remember I had even one.
'It worked', the guy whispered.
'Oh course it worked', I shouted. 'Wait, what worked'
The boy hesitated. It wasn't until then that I saw what stupid clothes he was wearing. Shiny armor. Cosplay or something. Or I landed on the set of a movie... no that would be too freaky. I must be in a cosplay.
'Thee... don't remember?', he asked. His espression made clear that he feared to wake more anger.
'No, of course not'
'No, no, it makes sense. Yes. It's possible no one told thee. Perhaps thou didn't notice but thou have been sleeping for two centuries'
'What!?!', I couldn't believe. My mother used to complain about me sleeping too much. But centuries seems a bit exaggerated. Two days I would have believed.
Besides, if you sleep two centures, you would notice the changes, it would be a very modern world to me. But it was more alike I had been sent backwards. Unless the future looks like the medieval times. Medieval?
'I went back in time!'
I just can't believe it. The TARDIS, it must have brought me here. Only, where is it?
'I'm sorry boy, sir, prince, I don't know, have you seen a police box recently?', I asked as polite as my sleeping mind could.
He just stared at me in silence. Kept on standing there. Next to a mirror. Mirror! If the TARDIS isn't found over here, then it could be there. At least I remembered the list of things Katie and I made.
Still, the question if it was needed remained unawnsered.
'Police box. Blue thing, square, lamb on it', I explained.
That only made him shake his head.
Maybe... I'm stuck.
'Sir, can you tell me, in what year did I wake up?'
'Precisely two centuries after you fell asleep. 1312'
'No! Tell me it isn't true!'
'It isn't true?', the man repeated.
This was not okay.
'I really went back in time! A seven hundred years! No bikes, no cellphones... I'm dead. Doomed to dead!'
How to get back? There must be some sort of vehicle. Horses, yes, that's it. Every prince had one of his own.
'Milady, are you okay?', he asked.
'Yes, I think so. Are you a prince?'
'Sorry, I only am a knight of the noble...' 'Fair enough'
I jumped out of the bed. 'Come, lets go to your horse'
As he moved a strange girl was revealed in the mirror. She had my face. Only, it had a few changes. For example, my skin was more pale. And my hair, I knew I had to cut my hair but not that much. It made me look like Snowwhite met Raiponce.
Automatically my fingers went to the mirror. 'What happend to me?'
As my fingers touched the mirror the solid glass melted arround them. I was standing too close, lost my balance and fell through the reflection. Darkness filled the room.
The only light came from the other side of the mirror where the knight pushed his hand against it. You could read the terror, pain of lost, on his face.
I ran to him, hoping he knew a way to get me out of here. He didn't. I started slamming the mirror. Without effect.
But it could be worse. The room at the other side went black. It came back. Only the prince had gone. Instead there was a terrifying woman. With moonwhite skin and fury green eyes. I could see the fire, they were burning. She wanted to step through my mirror. Fearfull I pressed my hands against the glass, wishing it would prevent her to come to my side. I'd give everything.
The image went black. Stars appeared. Black went to blue. I woke up in expectance to see my room.
