Forever I will watch you
shining oh so bright
hoping that one day you
will see my starlight
so we can shine together
untill the morninglight
It may seem incorrect
comparing you to starlight
the light of the sun is warmer
than that of stars at night
But I've got my reasons
for this comparison to be right
you're my light in the dark
you're my guide at night
Also you're too far away
for me to feel the warmth you
spread while you're up in the sky
shining the way you always do
But even though you're up there
and I'm alone down here
I'll keep following my dreams
