Dear Froukje

What is this in all its British?
Has old Saint Nick' made a poem with a different finish?
But how could that be, you wonder...
Well, this man has made his boat go yonder.
It is of course no easy trip,
To let a tale of old get into grip.
And now he traveld back across the pond.
You yourself write with ease and pleasure,
Online with stuff that have no measure.
Now I have seen some companions of al fellowship,
That told me of this marveled trip.
An elf, a dwarf, a wizard and some men,
But what surprised me most waas them.
Hobbits have seen some snow they say!
Upon some mountains that did not gave way.
They've seen some stuff upon these heights,
And now this Frodo had a book to give full of fights,
Oliphaunts and stranger beast...
You don't mind the story, it's a feast
Now this wise old Saint of gifts and peace,
Will soon bring you on your ease.
So hurry up and open swift,
There you will find your treasured gift.
