Fallen Angel Love Story

Just because You can't see my scars
Mean they don't hurt anymore
And though I hide them under my clothes
Doesn't mean they should be hidden or doesn't feel sore

Because, whenever I feel it, under my skin
The pressure comes and reveils my sins
The tragedy of a broken-hearted girl
Left alone, forgotten and ashamed in this world

She once loved a man, the devil in disguise
Who made her forgot all the other guys
She sold him her soul, body and pride
Wich he abused, and later, because of that, she died.

When she showed up at Heaven's Gate,
Saint Peter said she was to full of hate
So he said her to go back and dwell the earth
Searching for rest or a new love's birth

Thus she searched all over the place
Untill she met this one man's gaze
She thought she finally found the rest she deserves
But he wasn't right, his love was already reserved

But she couldn't give up on that one hope
And closed a pact to help him with finding her on this globe
But she made the wrong mistake and fell in love again,
And when they found the girl, the deeper she fell.

So the world around her was tumbling down
She kept looking in his eyes, within she drowned
But while underwater, yearning for fresh air,
she realized this wasn't the right affair

She found the strength to jump out of the water
And jumped into the arms of a Heart's Warrior
A serenade, only for his ears intended, followed by one dance
He bend forward, finally seeing his chance

He looked her in the eyes and dares her to kiss
She felt butterflies, and then she felt this;
She felt the chaines release her sold body
And got back her soul for wich she was sorry

Finally free, she enjoyed the life of lovers again,
But this story doesn't end here, my friend!
Not the time yet for happily ever after,
But will it get worse or will it get better?

She built up a new life with him by her side
But in her head, there still was a fight
She was so afraid to be left alone, like always
So she prayed all of the nights and all of the days

His love was something worth fighing for,
And the devil in her head, she started to ignore
But like you may know, he'll never be shut down
So he told her a lie and again, made her frown

He told her the one enchanted month was over
And she could go back to Heaven's Port
But She didn't want to let him go,
And once again, her thoughts were mort

The paralysing fear made her grow numb
But the Heart's Warrior wasn't that dumb
So he went to hell, down and back
To steal her heart and give it back

This couldn't go without some scars
But she kept thinking 'bout what was ours
So that's why I'm writing of this pain
Of the fear for the devil, in vain.

But I know that fairytales always end right
I realized after I've seen the light
It shined from your eyes, and made me fall in love
So it wasn't a Devil's pact after all, but a sign from Above xx

Het is een mooi gedicht. Dit keer geen lange tekst die een beetje poëtisch klinkt. Er zijn enkel nog wat taalfoutjes, maar mijn Engels is ook niet perfect.
