    Ik keek angstig over mijn schouder terwijl mijn ademhaling gejaagd werd. Ik liep snel vooruit en keek voor me voordat ik kon vallen, ik ging over op rennen maar werd tegen gehouden door een flinke ruk aan mijn haren. "Stop!" Gilde ik. "Waarom ik?!" Ik snikte en draaide me om, ik zag mijn lange zwarte haren in zijn hand, zijn o zo verachrikkelijke hand. Hoeveel klappen ik er wel niet van had hoeven vangen. Mijn schouders schokte en ik liet verslagen mijn hoofd hangen, wachtend op de dreunende pijn door mijn hele schedel...
