Ankylomon
Ankylomon (アンキロモン)
Ankylomon (アンキロモン)

Ankylomon is Armadillomon's champion form. His name is derived from the dinosaur ankylosaurus.

Armadillomon first digivolved to Ankylomon to protect Cody from Thundermon, who the DigiDestined encountered when they were helping to rebuild the Digital World after all the damage done by the Digimon Emperor. Since then, Ankylomon has appeared more than Armadillomon's Armor forms. Later, during the DigiDestined's battle against BlackWarGreymon, Ankylomon was able to DNA Digivolve with Angemon (Patamon's champion form) to Shakkoumon, who was the first to actually inflict any real damage on the Mega-leveled BlackWarGreymon.

Attacks:

* Tail Hammer: Ankylomon uses the spiked end of his tail as a hammer.
* Megaton Press: Ankylomon leaps into the air and slams his body onto his opponent.

guilmon (158 x uitgekomen)

Guilmon is a virus-type Digimon, though his attitude most of the time could lead to thinking that he was a data or even a vaccine-type. His virus typing could possibly explain his first mega form, Megidramon. Guilmon's fighting style shows his virus nature, as he fights with much more zeal than Agumon or other digimon protagonists. Guilmon has a very keen sense of smell and possess somewhat of a sixth sense to detect other digimon if around (though the concept of this ability may apply to all digimon, as most in the series could sense the presence of other digimon, if were around).

Guilmon is a curious and naive digimon, the youngest of the partner Digimon. He was created from Takato's imagination and brought to life by the Blue Card.[1] At first, Guilmon had not been aware of the differences between humans and Digimon, calling his partner Tamer "Takatomon."

Guilmon is normally depicted as playful and friendly, proving to be quite popular with Takato's classmates for being a real live Digimon. He would refer to Takato as "Takatomon" at the beginning of the series. Despite his childlike nature, Guilmon is shown to have wisdom. For example, when Takato didn't want Guilmon to digivolve, in fear that Guilmon would no longer be the same, Guilmon pointed out that Takato has changed over time as well, but he is still the same person.

Guilmon had one of the deepest relationships with his tamer out of the whole series, the two did many things together and conquering many hurdles. Guilmon is very loyal and protective of Takato and would do anything for him. When Guilmon digivolved to Megidramon, it was through their friendship that Takato managed to come back to his senses which allowed him to rescue Guilmon and bring him back, later allowing them to biomerge to Gallantmon to fight Beezlemon.

Guilmon gets along very well with Terriermon and Calumon. His first meeting with Renamon was as enemies, but Guilmon does later acknowledge Renamon's knowledge in combat situations. At first, Guilmon would either ignore or try to play with Impmon.

Unlike previous seasons, Guilmon is not the first Digimon to digivolve into Champion level even though he belongs to the lead character; Terriermon and Renamon digivolved before him. He does digivolve first in both Ultimate and Mega levels however.

Attacks

* Pyro Sphere (Fireball): Guilmon spits a concentrated blast of fire from his mouth.
* Rock Breaker: Guilmon hits his opponent with a huge amount of force, almost like he is throwing a rock at his opponent.

terriermon (16 x uitgekomen)

Terriermon started out as a wild Digimon, fighting by the rules of the "survival of the fittest" doctrine in the harsh realm of the Digital World.[1] When Henry received a Digimon video game as a present from his father, he selected Terriermon to play with because he identified with him (he said he wanted to be challenged by a small digimon). During a battle between Terriermon and Gorillamon, Henry caused Terriermon to Digivolve into Gargomon. However, Gargomon lost control of his powers and Terriermon was nearly unconscious when he De-Digivolved, causing Henry to regret causing Terriermon's digivolution. Soon after, the mysterious Blue Card was discovered among Henry's card collection. Henry swiped the card through his card reader, transforming it into a D-Power. Terriermon then Bio-Emerged into the Real World as Henry's partner.

At first, Henry hid Terriermon from his family by making Terriermon act like a simple stuffed animal. Later, Terriermon met the other Tamers, and became fast friends with Guilmon (Takato's partner).

Terriermon has a laid back personality - and often uses the word "Momentai" (written as 無問題 or 无问题), a Cantonese phrase that means "take it easy " or more commonly, "not a problem".

Terriermon was the first digimon to digivolve into champion level in Digimon Tamers.Attacks

* Bunny Blast (Blazing Fire): Terriermon fires energy blasts from his mouth. This can be in either a rapid round of tiny blasts, or in one large concentrated blast.
* Terrier Tornado (Petit Twister): Terriermon spins himself around and shoots a green tornado at his enemies.
* Twin Cyclone (Double Twister): A twin attack performed alongside Lopmon. Terriermon performs his "Terrier Tornado" attack at the same time lopmon performs her "Lop Twister"; causing both attacks to combine into a quite powerful wormhole-like cyclone, hence the name.

The first Pumpkinmon the DigiDestined encountered was technically a minion of Myotismon, although he and his companion Gotsumon would rather have had it be otherwise. Dispatched to search for the Eighth Child, Gotsumon and Pumpkinmon ended up in Shibuya, Tokyo, where they were enthralled by the culture and populous of Earth and immediately set about exploring, having fun - and generally causing trouble. It was only when they pulled a teenage girl's nosering that they encountered Matt, T.K. and Gabumon as they were searching for Patamon (due to an argument he and T.K. had earlier). After explaining that they just wanted to have fun, the two continued on their mischief, with Matt and T.K. trying to get them out of trouble in vain. But after the two stole some ice cream, Myotismon appeared and was angered to find the two slacking. He ordered them to kill the brothers and Gabumon, which they had no choice but to do. As soon as they got far enough away from Myotismon, however, they simply quit. They did not want to hurt the DigiDestined. Enraged, Myotismon attacked them. They tried to fight back but they were no match for his power. His Grisly Wing attack destroyed them and his Alpha Bats absorbed their data (in the dub, they were condemned to his dungeon in the Digital World).

gatomon (0 x uitgekomen)

Gatomon appears similar to a white Egyptian kitten, with enormous tiger like paws. In the dub, she speaks in a soft, drawling voice. The Japanese version, however, has her in a much older voice to reflect her maturity as a Champion level Digimon. As Salamon, she acts more youthful like many of the Rookie level Digimon. Her name, "Gatomon," comes from "gato", which means "cat" in Spanish, Greek, Italian and Portuguese. Though she is a Champion level Digimon, she is just as big as the other Rookie level Digimon.

[edit] Description

Gatomon is a main character in Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02, as well as the movies Digimon Adventure (The Movie), Our War Game!, The Golden Digimentals and Diaboromon Strikes Back.

Gatomon first appeared in Digimon Adventure as a malicious Digimon working for Myotismon. As a Digi-Egg, Nyaromon had been separated from the other seven Chosen Digimon. When she later digivolved into Salamon, Myotismon took her under his wing and receive brutal beatings whenever she scowls as him. Salamon eventually naturally Digivolved into Gatomon and became one of Myotismon's lieutenants in his army of Digimon. During this time, she gained a rival in one of his other minions, Demidevimon, as the two competed for their master's favour. Her only friend was Wizardmon, a Digimon who Gatomon had once helped and vowed to return the favor.

Gatomon accompanied Myotismon and his army in the assault on the Real World in the search of the Eighth Child, the predestined eighth member of the DigiDestined, who Myotismon was determined to destroy. Thanks to Wizardmon, Gatomon realized that she was in fact the chosen partner Digimon for the eighth member, Kari Kamiya. However, Myotismon also discovered this and captured Gatomon and used her to identify Kari. When Gatomon refused, Kari willingly gave herself up to stop the bloodshed, despite the protests of Gatomon and the other DigiDestined.

The DigiDestined and their Digimon, along with Wizardmon, fought Myotismon to save Kari. During the battle, Wizardmon sacrificed himself for Kari. Gatomon was devastated by Wizardmon's death, and Digivolved into Angewomon to fight Myotismon. By absorbing the power of the other Digimon into one of her arrows, Angewomon had apparently destroyed Myotismon. However, Myotismon's entity endured and he became VenomMyotismon. After the following battle Gatomon accompanied Kari and the other DigiDestined back to the Digital World to fight the Dark Masters.

Gatomon returned as a main character in the second Digimon season, Digimon Adventure 02. Three years had passed since the adventures of the original DigiDestined, and now, a human calling himself the Digimon Emperor was conquering the Digital World and enslaving the Digimon. Gatomon was reunited with Kari but had lost her Tail Ring while escaping a Unimon under the control of a Dark Ring. Without the Tail Ring's holy power, Gatomon's power was greatly reduced to roughly that of a Rookie level Digimon.

In the last episode of the series, Gennai returns the missing Tail Ring to Gatomon. Apparently it was found by the forces of good. Gennai explains that the Ring served as a means to contain the dark energy of the Digimon Emperor's fortress, and that its power was what allowed DNA Digivolution to take place.

Attacks

* Lightning Paw (Cat Punch): A lightning-fast punch
* Cat's Eye Hypnotism (Cat's Eye): An attack that allows Gatomon to confuse and/or paralyze the opponent.

zhuqaiumon (0 x uitgekomen)

Although Zhuqiaomon neither appeared nor was mentioned in the series, he was one of the Harmonious Ones (the name of the Sovereigns in this series), who, together with his partners was defeated by the Dark Masters. They were released when the DigiDestined used the powers of their crests. When Ken Ichijouji became the Digimon Emperor, they were sealed again and so created the D-3 Digivice, which they gave the new DigiDestined to fight against Ken.huqaiomon makes a full appearance in Digimon Adventure 02: D1 Tamers, set shortly after Ryo Akiyama and Ken Ichijouji defeat Millenniummon, and Ken receives the Dark Spore. In it, Zhuqaiomon and the other Harmonious Ones set up a false contest under the pretense that all but one of them has become evil, and the Tamer who wins the contest must stop the others. Ryo wins this contest, and it is revealed that it was set up to train him to fight Moon=Millenniummon.Zhuqiaomon sent his servants, the Devas, to find and capture Calumon. Makuramon captured him and attempted but failed to bring him to Zhuqiaomon. He was also behind Impmon's Digivolution to Beelzemon. Chatsuramon later brought Calumon to Zhuqiaomon and he placed Calumon in a pit. When Antylamon became Suzie's partner, Zhuqiaomon's power De-Digivolved Antylamon to Lopmon. During the battle between Beelzemon and Gallantmon, he sent Chatsuramon to destroy Lopmon. Chatsuramon was destroyed by Gallantmon and his data was absorbed by Beelzemon. When the Tamers finally confronted Zhuqiaomon, he did a lot of damage to Rapidmon before Henry and Terriermon Bio-Merged to MegaGargomon and defeated him. Zhuqiaomon, who the Tamers thought was destroyed, emerged and then battled Gallantmon until the Eastern Guardian Azulongmon appeared and stopped the battle. During Azulongmon's story, Zhuqiaomon revealed the catalyst where Calumon's power came from. He took the Tamers to the pit where Calumon was and Calumon was rescued. Baihumon and Ebonwumon met with them to talk about the D-Reaper problem and Zhuqiaomon helped to release Calumon's Shining Digivolution power that Digivolved every Digimon to its Mega Form. When the Tamers started to fight the D-Reaper in the Real World, Zhuqiaomon sent a Dobermon with a message: the receiving of the ability to Bio-Merge in the Real World. In the final battle against the D-Reaper, Zhuqiaomon assisted Azulongmon, Baihumon, and Ebonwumon into dragging the Cable Reaper back into the Digital World during Operation: Doodlebug, thus saving the Tamers. Unlike most other Digimon antagonists, Zhuqiaomon did not attack the humans because of evil intentions, but because he believed them to be a threat to the Digital World for such reasons as their "abuse" of the Catalyst (Calumon). He was actually willing to work with the Tamers (somewhat begrudgingly) when he saw the power of humans and Digimon working together, and he was even willing to accept that their Digimon chose to stay with them.Zhuqiaomon is the Gold Tamer Observer. When he is captured by the BT Boss, he appears as a boss, at level 60. Before you fight him, you must fight a Seraphimon, a Cherubimon, and a GuardiAngemon.Attacks

* Desolation Blast: Releases energy from his wings.

azulongmon (10 x uitgekomen)

Each Digidestined's Crest was used to free each of the Guardians (Sovereigns are known as Guardians in 02), it seems that it took two Crests to free one Guardian, and as Azulongmon stated while talking to BlackWarGreymon and the 02 Digidestined, was released by the Crests of Hope and Light.
[edit] Digimon Tamers

Azulongmon first appeared when Zhuqiaomon attacked the Tamers. He saved the humans and their partner Digimon and then shortly fought against Zhuqiaomon. He finally convinced Zhuqiaomon to not attack the Tamers so that they could focus on the true enemy, the D-Reaper. He told the Tamers the history of the Digital World and each of its layers. He and Zhuqiaomon later met with Baihumon and Ebonwumon to discuss the D-Reaper situation and helped to release Calumon's Shining Digivolution power which Digivolved every Digimon to their Mega forms. In the final battle against the D-Reaper, Azulongmon assisted Zhuqiaomon, Ebonwumon, and Baihumon into dragging the D-Reaper back into the Digital World during Operation: Doodlebug, thus saving the Tamers. Azulongmon has a noticeably different personality in Digimon Tamers then in Digimon Adventure 02. In Adventure 02 he's depicted as extremely witty, while Tamers he's depicted as serious and no-nonsense.
